A bit disappointed........

Remember this project from a little while ago -

Well the good news is it's being published which is why I can't show you the whole thing. The bad news is I had it featured on the Pink Paislee blog on this post and had to ask them to remove it. So I was a bit disappointed to say the least. It was my first ever PP LO I uploaded on Live Pink too. Oh well, have to remember to keep uploading them.

Hope you are all having a nice weekend. Our old next door neighbours are coming over for dinner so best get my butt in gear and get to the shops.

Who loves scrappy bits and pieces

That would be me. I have just discovered a new site that sells gorgeous little scrapping bits and pieces made up in kits. Think flashcards, buttons, journalling cards etc, etc. Are you interested in having a look? Pop over to the Old Favourites Blog and follow their link to their shop. Their first kit has been released and it's a cracker. Sam is doing a little giveaway too, so pop by and enter.

April Sketch over at Scrapability Sketches

This is my latest effort using this months sketch over at Scrapability Sketches. Loved, loved, loved the sketch this month, I used lots of bits and pieces out of last months kit from Paper Poppy Kit Co. I bought the one this month too, Aphra puts together an awesome kit and is super organised getting it to me. Think this may become a monthly obsession - LOL. With the value of our dollar against the US, it def makes it worth getting them. The big yellow button is My Little Bit of Whimsy, the bright green one in the top right hand corner Such Sweet Tierney and that butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. Wasn't sure about the Layout but it is growing on me.

This photo is of Miss Megs taken at the end of Preschool, she is now in Year 6 and starting Middle School next year. As the journalling says - where has the time gone? It was good to drag some old photos out I haven't scrapped, must remember to do this more often.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments, I love reading them.

By night

We started the pool early Feb and here it is all finished. I'll leave the daytime shots until Ash has the Gazebo finished. The kids have been swimming for the past few days and we had friends over yesterday to christen it properly with a BBQ and swim. We're so happy with it, it's like having a resort in our own backyard. Our old next door neighbours built it for us, their business is called Porpoise Pools, so if you are in SE Qld/Northern NSW and are getting a pool, consider using them, they do an awesome job.
I can't believe it is still 30 degrees in the middle of April. Wonder when it is gonna start cooling down? Mind you I'm not complaining.

My awesome news

Well as you all know I have been madly completing all the DT tryout challenges over at Scrapability Sketches. Bek has asked me to be part of her Design Team as well as Bridge, Janine and Lisa. We will be joining Ebony Van der Starre, Kerry Snell, Sue Plumb, Kylie Symons and Grace Keogh. These girls are the best and so talented. Go and have a look at their blogs for some great inspiration.

Anyways back to my news - I am awfully chuffed and very excited. The site is lots of fun and the members are all really nice. Come over and join in, I'd love to see you there.

xx Deb.
